Five social enterprises – Winner, Child Dynamix, East Hull Community Transport, Preston Road Enterprises and EMS Yorkshire – combined annual turnover of £2million and employing around 150 staff.
They cover childcare and youth facilities; Women’s Centre; dial-a-ride and group travel; the village centre; and neighbourhood management/environmental consultancy.
Assets – Village Centre, East Hull Centre for Horticulture and Construction Skills Centre; a range of play facilities, worth approximately £ 15 million.
Services to Preston Road:
Hull City Council’s customer service centre; NHS Hull’s Minor Treatment Centre; purpose-built
youth centre run by Youth Dynamix; Small grants fund from the Village Centre operating
surplus for community.
From 2011, the £37 million Archbishop Sentamu Academy, opens its doors on Preston Road, with 1,600 pupils.
