Freedom Stroke Club
16 Stocksbridge Avenue
Freedom Stroke Club was formed in April 2012 and is run by and for the benefit of stroke survivors their carers and family members. People who attend our Stroke Club offer each other support, friendship, empathy and inspiration. You should never underestimate how important it is just to have someone to talk to in the same situation which can prove amazingly beneficial to the stroke survivor’s and their carers.
Support groups play a very important part in the recovery pathway and helps alleviate stress and depression.
We hold events, Christmas Lunches, Day Trips and Red Cross Therapy Sessions. We also invite interesting speakers to our meetings which are held on the last Friday of each month at The Freedom Centre, Hull.
